Creative walk and talk in Cambridge aims to inspire and stimulate

A group of creative practitioners have issued an open invitation to the first creative walk n talk on November 10 2012.

This unique event is taking place at Compcros –  a research  and retreat space in Cambridge and is hosted by Toyin Adepoju, founder and director of Compcros.

The organisers believe that engaging with a personal library and a green space provides the perfect backdrop to enhance conversation, creativity and collaboration.

The aim of Creative walk n talk is to offer busy creative professionals an alternative and complimentary space to their existing practice. All that is required are ideas, an artefact, artwork, and most importantly an open mind to get the conversation started.

Yewande Okuleye, who conceived the idea of Creative walk n talk said: “We will take the conversation for a walk through the rich landscape of the library and adjoining park. We envision one of the outcomes of this event could be a group exhibition in 2013. However, we welcome ideas and suggestions.”

Venue:  Compcros, Compass House, Vision Park, Histon, Cambridge CB24 9AB

Date: Saturday  November 10 2012, from 11am to 4pm.
